Canton, N.Y.- The SUNY Geneseo Men's Lacrosse team lost on the road to No.14 St. Lawerence University on Wednesday afternoon. The Knights dropped to 2-2 on the season while the Saints advanced to 5-0. 

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Senior Kevin Mounton scored the first goal for the Knights 37 seconds into the second quarter on a man advantage, assisted by Riley Henselder.  
• The Saints had a 9-1 lead at halftime. 
• Sophomore Jack Helrigel bounced a shot into the top corner of the net seven minutes into the third quarter. 
• Junior Jimmy Atkinson scored at 12:57 to cut down the Saint's lead.  
• Sophomore Ronnie Trebing added another with 12:02 left in the final quarter. 
• Sophomore Stephen Mendolia scored with 0:24 left in the game. 
• The game ended with a final score of St. Lawerence 16, Geneseo 5. 

QUICK FACTS: 

• Kevin Mounton's first-half goal was his second of the season and 10^th of his career as a Knight. 
• Jimmy Atkinson recorded a goal and an assist throughout the contest. Atkinson leads the Knights with 13 points on the season.

The Geneseo Knights (2-2) will host the Clarkson University Golden Knights (3-2) on Saturday, March 9^th, at 2 P.M. at College Stadium.
