HOW IT HAPPENED

- Mouton tallied his third assist of the game to start the second quarter as first-year attacker Riley Henselder put them ahead 4-2. Junior goalkeeper Mark Pav and the Knights defense held strong in the quarter and shut out the Golden Eagles to allow Geneseo to take a 6-2 advantage into halftime.
- Senior midfielder Sean Byrne kept the momentum going early in the third quarter, by driving towards the goal and scoring a behind the back goal. Later in the quarter, Cook jumped to catch a pass near the goal and scored in one quick motion before landing. The Knights improved their lead to 9-2 after the third quarter.
- Brockport was able to add two goals in the fourth quarter, but the lead was too large for a comeback and Geneseo earned the playoff victory.
