Box Score ONEONTA, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior attacker Tim Fallo scored one goal and provided six assists as the Knights beat State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) opponent Oneonta 14-2 in the SUNYAC Conference Tournament semifinals Tuesday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights got out on the board first, with senior attacker James Pratt scoring on an assist from senior attacker Tim Fallo just over a minute into the game. The Red Dragons scored twice to take an early lead, but senior attacker Connor Griffin tallied the game-tying goal later in the period, as the Knights and Red Dragons finished the first quarter tied, 2-2.
- The second quarter was dominated by the Knights, as they scored four unanswered to take a 6-2 lead into halftime. Pratt scored two, junior midfielder Kevin Cook scored once and assisted two, and Fallo beat the halftime horn to put the visiting team ahead by four goals at the break.
- It was more of the same coming out of the half for the Knights. The squad outscored the hosts 4-0 for the second-straight period, leading 10-2 at the end of the third quarter.
- The Knights held Oneonta scoreless for a third-straight quarter, as Griffin, Cook, junior attacker Nicholas Gonzalez, and sophomore midfielder Kevin Leon scored for the Knights, pushing the score to 14-2.
