Box Score BEREA, Ohio - SUNY Geneseo junior attacker Tim Fallo scored three goals on Saturday as the Knights defeated the host Balwin Wallace Yellow Jackets, 13-9.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sophomore attacker Kevin Cook scored the Knights' first goal less than a minute into the game, assisted by sophomore midfielder Sean Bryne.
- With the game tied 3-3 with 7:53 remaining in the first, Geneseo scored three-straight goals to finish the first quarter ahead 6-3.
- Fallo put the Knights ahead 8-3 by scoring two goals within a span of four seconds. Geneseo entered halftime with an 11-5 lead.
- Baldwin Wallace opened the second half with two goals, but junior midfielder Cameron Chiodo put Geneseo ahead 12-7 halfway through the third quarter.
- Senior attacker Matt Malone extended Geneseo's lead to 13-7 in the fourth quarter. Baldwin Wallace scored twice in the final quarter, but senior goaltender Tyler Wetzel made six saves in the final frame as the Knights held on to win 13-9.
