Box Score PITTSFORD, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior infielder Tori Fahie lifted a two-run home run that proved to be the difference as the Knights earned a 3-0 victory over No. 7 St. John Fisher on Saturday afternoon in the NCAA Regional.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Geneseo took the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning when Fahie blasted a shot over the right-center field fence, giving the Knights a 2-0 advantage.
- In the fifth, Geneseo added a run when junior outfielder Danni Napoli lifted a sacrifice fly to center field to score sophomore pitcher Ashlyn Kersch.
- Kersch limited the St. John Fisher offense to one hit, shutting out the Cardinals to earn the win.

- The game marked Geneseo's second-consecutive shutout and the team's 10th of the season. The Knights have held opponents to two or fewer runs in 24 games this season, posting a 22-2 record in those contests.
