No. 1 RIT Too Much For Men's Lacrosse, 21-5

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo dropped a 21-5 decision at No. 1 RIT on Wednesday. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • RIT (7-0) opened a 4-0 lead in the first five minutes of the game before sophomore attackman Dillon Rogers put the Knights (2-3) on the board with 7:55 remaining in the first quarter. 
  • The Tigers scored three goals in the final four minutes of the quarter and then outscored Geneseo, 8-0, in the second quarter to take a commanding 15-1 halftime lead. 
  • RIT scored the first four goals of the third quarter before first-year midfielder Ryan Dorney tallied with 2:32 on the clock. 
  • Senior midfielder Luke Jordan tallied two of the Knights' three goals in the final 10 minutes of regulation. 

WHAT'S NEXT 

Geneseo plays the fifth of seven-straight road games on Saturday, traveling to Clarkson for a 3:00 p.m. face-off.
