OSWEGO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo sophomore attacker Tessa Doody totaled game-highs of four goals and four draw controls, but it was host Oswego handing the No. 15 Knights an 11-9 setback in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) women's lacrosse, Wednesday. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Geneseo opened a 3-1 lead in the first 11 minutes of play. First-year attacker Hannah Marafioti and Doody opened the scoring and, following a Laker goal at 21:45, senior attacker Hannah Millich netted a man-up tally at 19:22. 
• Oswego (8-4, 4-2 SUNYAC) outscored the Knights 5-1 to close the first half and notched the first goal of the second to build a 7-4 edge with 28:23 remaining in regulation. 
• Doody keyed a 3-1 Geneseo run with a pair of goals to pull the visitors within a goal, 8-7, with 18:34 remaining, but Oswego responded by scoring three of the next four goals to retake a decisive 11-8 lead with 5:24 on the clock. 

QUICK FACTS                                                                                                         

• Geneseo (11-2, 4-2 SUNYAC) has now lost back-to-back games after starting the season with a school-record 11-game unbeaten streak. The Knights also dropped a 15-10 decision to visiting Cortland on Saturday. 
• Geneseo out-shot Oswego, 30-24, and finished the game with an edge in both draw controls, 12-10, and ground balls, 24-18. 
• Senior defender Karen Boronczyk led the way with six caused turnovers to go along with four ground balls and four draw controls. 
• Millich moved into 19th place on the Knights' career list with 91 goals, while her 103 points are the 24th-highest total in program history.
