GENESEO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo junior attacker Hannah Millich scored a career-high seven goals to propel the Knights, 6-7 (3-3 SUNYAC) to a victory over State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) foe Oswego, 13-4, on Tuesday evening at College Stadium.

Junior attackers Erin Cregan and Rachel Fisher each notched two goals and an assist while sophomore midfielder Maddie Lee and first-year midfielder Tessa Doody each scored once. Sophomore Carly Cullen scooped a team-high four ground balls while Lee recorded a team-best three caused turnovers. Sophomore goalkeeper Tess McFadden earned the win in net, making six saves on the day.

The Knights and Lakers traded goals over the first 12:57, but Millich put the team ahead, 3-2, at the 16:09 mark, spurring a 4-1 run to end the half. At the break, Geneseo led Oswego, 7-3.

In the second half, Geneseo opened the frame with three straight goals, holding the Lakers scoreless for the first 23:53 of the period, to take a 10-3 lead. An Oswego goal made it 10-4, but the Knights responded with three tallies in the final 5:00 to close out the game and earn the conference victory.

Millich's seven-goal performance marked the sixth-highest single-game goal total in Geneseo history. It was the most goals scored in a game by a Knight since March 11, 2014 when Katey Hart scored seven times against RIT.
