CANTON, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior attack Tara Basile totaled three goals and an assist while junior attack Kathleen DePillo added three goals to lead the Knights to a 13-6 victory at St. Lawrence, Saturday.

Geneseo (3-3) opened a 5-1 lead with 11:11 left in the first period, including back-to-back DePillo tallies in a 2:11 span, but the Saints (3-4) answered with a pair of goals to close within two, 5-3, by the end of the half.

The Knights scored seven-unanswered goals to open the second half en route to a 12-3 lead with 8:33 left in regulation. Basile started the run at 22:14 and, following DePillo's third goal of the game at 21:20, scored the hat-trick at19:39.

Tallies by junior midfielder Erin Cregan (18:10), senior attack Erin Down (17:04) and sophomore attack Hannah Millich (13:35) made it an 11-3 lead for the visitors before Cregan's second of the game closed the decisive run at 8:33 to put the game out of reach.

Geneseo finished the game with a 27-19 advantage in shots and a 13-8 lead in draw controls. 

The Knights return to action on Tuesday, hosting Rochester at 4:00 p.m. in a game rescheduled from last Wednesday.
