NEW ORLEANS – The SUNY Geneseo men's and women's cross country squads were both recognized as All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2025 season. Additionally, the Knights combined for thirteen All-Academic individual awards.
Both teams received All-Academic status with the women posting a 3.50 cumulative GPA and the men recording a 3.40 cumulative GPA. Award-eligible teams must register a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.1 on a 4.0 scale.
In order to qualify for individual All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet. For the men,
Emerson Comer,
Thomas Blake,
Collin Brown,
Anson Butler,
James Tette, and
Pierce Young earned the honor. On the women's side,
Ann Brennan,
Sierra Doody,
Jillian O'Rourke, Kaitlyn Hotaling, Annika Hurley, Alexa Kosier, and Ari Reback brought home the awards.
