ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The SUNY Geneseo women's cross country team won the team title at the Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational, hosted by the University of Rochester, edging out Colgate 42-51 in the 6k race.

Greylynn Guyer led the way for Geneseo in second place, finishing in 22:00.8. Shelby Boise and Alexa Kosier followed in fifth and seventh with times of 22:18.1 and 22:28.0, respectively. Annabelle Czekanski and Dakota Limbert rounded out the scoring five for the Knights in 12th and 16th, crossing in 22:50.8 and 22:58.5. Danielle List and Ella Grinnell rounded out the top finishers for the Knights, placing 18th and 20th with times of 23:08.3 and 23:11.4.

Geneseo's top five runners finished within 58 seconds of one another, the tightest spread of any team in the 16-team field. The Knights return to action next week as the team will split up between the RPI Fairground Showdown and the Harry F. Anderson Invitational at Roberts Wesleyan. FULL RESULTS
