ROCHESTER, NY: The SUNY Geneseo women's swimming & diving team competed at RIT this weekend, taking down the Tigers 255 to 97 for their tenth win this season.

Erin Johannsen kicked things off for the Knights, taking first place in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:52.03. The 200-yard medley relay did the same, with
Maya Marcyan, Thomas, Sotek and Johannsen finishing at 1:45.40.
Abby Funk,
Maura O'Donnell and
Hannah Brockman led the 500-yard free, with Funk in first place with a time of 5:09.41. In the 200-yard breaststroke, Thomas and
Maya Marcyan took first and second, with only a second separating the two. Geneseo did the same in the 50-yard free, with only .1 separating Sotek's and Johannsen's times; 23.83 and 23.93. Sotek took first again in the 100-yard butterfly, touching at 56.98, while
Maya Marcyan showed out in the in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing at 59.44 for first place.
The Knights took the top four spots in the 400-yard IM, with
Chloe Marcyan leading the pack with a time of 4:36.90 for first place. The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Sotek, Johannsen, Thomas and
Kaitlyn Geary took first place with a time of 1:37.08, with the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Sotek, Johannsen, Brockman and
Courtney Sorbello following suit, taking first place with their time of 3:34.48.
Lydia Benjamin led the knights in the 3-meter dive, taking first place with a score of 477.65.
The Knights will travel to Ithacan College on Saturday, January 31
st.
