LEWISBURG, P.A. - The SUNY Geneseo track and field teams competed at Bucknell on Saturday and Sunday against competition from Division I to Division III, and came away with multiple impressive performances.
Penelope Greene set a new program record in the 10,000m, recording a time of 33:42.16. Greene's time also marked the sixth fastest time in Division III history as she placed first overall and
Lilly Fowler-Conner earned the fourth fastest time in school history at 35:04.34. On the men's side of the 10,000m,
Charlie Wilson record the second fastest time in school history at 29:40.95. In the men's 3,000m Steeplechase,
Pierce Young placed first at 8:56.20, while
Ann Brennan was third for the women at 10:46.82..
Ryan Hagan led the way for the Knights in the 5,000m, recording a time of 14:20.88 in sixth place. On the women's side, Gabriella McCarthy posted the fastest time for Geneseo at 16:59.76.
Sam Belmont led the Knights in the 400m hurdles at 53.69 seconds for a top-five finish, while
Connor Hitt finished third in his 1500m race at 3:56.17.
Matthew Sheehan added a top-five finish in the 800m at 1:50.91, while
Jacob Miller was fourth in the 400m at 48.04.
