GENESEO, NY- Geneseo Equestrian competed this weekend at Su Lawrence University in their finals show of the Semester.  

HOW IT HAPPENED:  

On Saturday,  Colden Pike took second in Intermediate Equitation Over Fences. Teagan Werner took placed first in Limit Equitation over Fences while Ashley Merz placed third. 
In Limit Equitation on the Flat, Merz placed first and Pike and Werner both placed third. Aubree Yokota placed first in Novice and Avery Bergen placed first in Pre-novice. Zoe Hanna placed fourth in Novice, while Clare O'Brien placed second in Introductory. The team ended the day taking fourth place.  

On Sunday, Teagan Werner placed first in Limit Equitation over Fences. Ashley Merz placed third in Limit Equitation over Fences and moved up into Intermediate Equitation on the flat.  She placed 2nd in her Limit Equitation on the Flat class as well.  Teammates Colden Pike and Aubree Yokota moved up as well. Pike placed 1st in Limit Equitation on the Flat and moved up into Intermediate Equitation on the Flat and Yokota placed 1st in Novice Equitation and moved up into Limit Fences and Flat. Katee Daviau placed fourth in Pre-novice Equitation and moved up into the Novice division. Hannah Klein placed first in Novice Equitation. Clare O'Brien placed third in Introductory Equitation and the team took sixth place this afternoon.  

WHATS NEXT:  

Equestrian returns in February as the compete again at St. Lawrence. In addition, Ashley Merz, Colden Pike, and Aubree Yokota will all be attending regionals in March.
