CANTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo equestrian team traveled to St. Lawrence on Saturday and Sunday for their first shows of the spring semester, where they finished fourth both days.

On Saturday, Ashley Merz placed second in Intermediate Equitation over Fences and third in Limit Equitation on the Flat. She moved up into the Intermediate division for Flat. Mandi Fasano picked up a first place finish for the Knights in Limit Equitation on the Flat. Hannah Klein and Kayla Harvey both placed second in Novice Equitation and Introductory Equitation, respectively.

On Sunday, Ashley Merz places third in both Intermediate over Fences and on the Flat, while Teagan Werner also earned a third place finish in Limit Equitation on the Flat. Zoe Hanna placed secondnd in Novice Equitation. Hailey Bilby placed thirdrd in Pre-Novice Equitation and Kayla Harvey placed secondnd in Introductory Equitation to round out the competition for Geneseo.

The Knights will turn their attention towards Regionals at St. Lawrence on March 29.
