GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo equestrian team placed third on both Saturday and Sunday, as they hosted a pair home shows to open their 2025-26 campaign.
On Saturday,Â
Ashley Merz placed second and
Colden Pike placed third in Intermediate over Fences.
Teagan Werner placed first in Limit over Fences and third in Limit Flat.
Mandi Fasano placed third in both Limit over Fences and Flat.
Hannah Klein and
Zoe Hannah both placed first in Novice Flat and
Meganne Moore placed first in Pre Novice Flat.
Sierra Bleier placed third in Pre Novice Flat.Â
On Sunday,Â
Teagan Werner pointed out her division, qualifying for Regional Finals, which will be held at St. Lawrence University on Wednesday, April 1st. Teagan placed fist in her Limit over fences class to qualify for Intermediate Fences. Teagan also placed third in Limit Flat and
Mandi Fasano placed second in Limit over Fences.
Hannah Klein placed third in Novice Flat.Â
The Knights will return home for senior day next Saturday at 9 a.m.
