ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's track and field team traveled to Nazareth on Friday evening for their final competition of the first semester.
Lance Jensen and
Andrew Kent got things started off on a high note for the Knights, taking first and second in the 400m Invite. Jensen crossed the finish line at 48.14, good enough to move to second fastest in program history, while Kent finished at 48.64, tying for fourth fastest in program history.Â
In the mile,
Nick Baumann took the top spot at 4:19.55, while
Brian Kenny took third at 4:28.44.
Brendan Style (8.32) and
Jackson Glocksey (8.65) took second and third, respectively, in the 60m hurdles.
Kyle Gronau returned the Knights to their winning ways in the 3000m, taking first at 8:49.66 while
Jack Heraty finished third. Geneseo capped off the track events in the 4x400, with the team of Jensen, Kent,
Sam Belmont and
Phil Rosengarten crossing first at 3:20.70.
In the field events,
Bryan Jacobs took second in the long jump at 6.96 to highlight Geneseo's results.
