LEWISBURG, PA. - The SUNY Geneseo Men's Track & Field team competed against NCAA Division I and II competition at the Bucknell Bison Classic, hosted by Bucknell University on Friday and Saturday.
Lance Jensen finished in first place in the 400 hurdles, turning in a time of 53.28, good for sixth in NCAA Division III this season. Kieran Sheridan added a fourth-place finish in the 400, finishing just a half-second behind the lead runner from NCAA Division I Duquesne. Jason Rappazzo finished just behind Sheridan in seventh place. Ezra Ruggles finished the 1,500 in 3:49.39, placing 12th in the event and 10th in NCAA Division III so far this season. Nicky Andrews set the Knights' program record in the 5,000, finishing in 14:11.44 which ranks fifth among all NCAA Division III runners this season as well.
The Knights will compete again on Saturday, April 23 when they host the Geneseo Tri-Meet.
