GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior Jason Rappazzo ran to first place in a pair of events to lead the Knights in the "It's Nice Out" Invitational.
Rappazzo finished first in the 200 with a time of 22.11 and added a first-place finish in the 4x100 relay, teaming with Kieran Sheridan, Adam Specht and Lance Jensen to win the event in 42.62. Sheridan also placed first in the 400, finishing the race in 47.85. John Goldszer took first in the 400 hurdles with a time of 55.42 while Joshua Feldberg recorded a leap of 6.94m to win the long jump. Greg Cole-Allen finished first in the shot put, throwing the stone 13.76m and the hammer throw (50.02m)
The Knights will compete again on Friday and Saturday at the Bucknell Bison Classic, hosted by Bucknell University.
