PITTSFORD, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior Kieran Sheridan set a meet record in the 400 and added a program record in the 4x400 relay as the Knights placed second at AARTFC Championships on Friday and Saturday at Nazareth.
Sheridan raced to a meet record 48.26 finish to win the 400 and then teamed with John Goldszer, Jason Rappazzo and Lance Jensen to take first in the 4x400 relay, setting a program record with a time of 3:17.41. The mark finished as the sixth-fastest time in NCAA Division III this season, good for an invitation to next weekend's NCAA Championships. Junior Nicky Andrews finished first in the mile with a time of 4:11.83 as well as the Knights placed second in the meet with 72 points.
Geneseo will travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. to compete in the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, beginning on Friday March 11 and continuing into Saturday, March 12.
