GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo Men's Track & Field team earned its fifth-consecutive SUNYAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship, raising the banner on Saturday at Brockport. The Knights finished first in eight events to outscore second-place Cortland and third-place Brockport.
Geneseo has now won five-straight SUNYAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, the longest streak of conference championships since Fredonia won eight-straight from 1989 to 1996.

DAY ONE
Junior Nicky Andrews and the Knights' DMR team, made up of Micah McCulley, Matthew Sheehan, Zachary Gauronski and Ben Timmons each earned SUNYAC titles on Friday night. Andrews led six Geneseo runners across the line as the Knights finished first through sixth in the 5,000. The Geneseo DMR placed first with a finishing time of 10:25.81. After McCulley and Sheehan put the Knights in prime position, Gauronski gave Geneseo a massive lead with a 1:57.86 leg (800m) before handing off to Timmons who anchored the relay.
DAY TWO
Senior Kieran Sheridan set a meet record to finish first in the 400 with a time of 48.25 while John Goldszer and Lance Jensen finished in second and third, respectively. Alec Andrews earned a SUNYAC Championship in the 800 and teamed with Stephen Hoare, Peter Moller and Goldszer to win the 4x400 relay. His brother, Nicky Andrews added a conference title in the 3,000. Ezra Ruggles earned a win in the mile while Luke Andres took down the Heptathlon with a score of 4,518.
