GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior Josh Feldberg set a program record and placed first in the triple jump to lead the Knights as they competed in the Conference Tune-Up at Nazareth on Friday evening.
Feldberg leaped to 14.74m (48'4.5") to take first in the event by over a meter past the second-place finisher. Senior Kieran Sheridan added a pair of first-place finishes as well, finishing first in the 400 with a time of 48.62 and then teamed with John Goldszer, Bryan Ivey and Lance Jensen to take first in the 4x400 relay, finishing in 3:17.86. Senior Riley Grossman placed second overall in the mile, timing out at 4:19.39 and crossing as the first collegiate competitor in the meet.
The Knights will compete in the SUNYAC Championships, hosted by Brockport, on Friday Feb. 25 and Saturday, Feb. 26.
