Box Score GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior guard Harrison Dignan tied a career-high with 12 assists and added six points as the Knights defeated State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) foe Oneonta, 91-68, on Saturday afternoon at Schrader Gymnasium.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights and Red Dragons traded baskets early on, with Oneonta taking a 19-17 lead with 11:50 remaining in the first half. Dignan assisted each of the Knights first seven made field goals as the two squads battled back and forth.
- Oneonta took a 34-33 lead with 2:31 to play in the first half, but the Knights responded as sophomore guard Raymond Grabowski drilled a three-pointer to regain the lead. Dignan drilled a pull-up three-pointer as time expired to give Geneseo a 41-34 lead entering the halftime break.
- Dignan opened the second half with another three-pointer, spurring the home team on a 22-9 run to begin the period as the Knights took a 63-43 lead with 12:08 to play.
- The Knights lead ballooned to 27 points, 72-45, the largest lead of the game, when senior guard Sean Casey sank a pair of free throws with 8:37 to go.
- First-year guard Timothy Giblin sank a three-pointer in the final minutes to give the Knights a 90-63 lead as the squad took the 91-68 victory.

- Senior forward Michael Gannon scored a game-high 24 points with 13 rebounds and graduate guard Terrance Nichols tallied 19 points as 12 Knights scored at least two points.
- Dignan tied a career-high with 12 assists and shot a perfect 2-for-2 from the field to finish with six points.
