PITTSFORD, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's track & field team placed first in both the distance medley relay and the 4x400 relay at the Conference Challenge Cup hosted by Nazareth on Saturday.
The Knights' Distance Medley Relay team comprised of Dawson Tooker, Micah Ford, Zach Gauronski and Dillon McClary placed first in 10:56.98 while the 4x400 team of Jason Rappazzo, John Goldszer, Bryan Ivey and Kieran Sheridan crossed in 3:19.16 to earn a first-place finish as well. The Knights' quartet set a program record with the time, edging out the prior mark set in 2018, and rank third nationally in the event. Sheridan went on to place first in the 800 as well, crossing in 1:54.20, the third-fastest time in program history and seventh nationally. Nicky Andrews finished second in the 3,000, posting the seventh-fastest time in NCAA Division III this year. Senior Joshua Feldberg flew to the 14th-best mark in NCAA Division III this season in the triple jump, leaping 14.25 meters.
Senior Luke Andres competed in the heptathlon on Saturday and Sunday, finishing fourth overall with a score of 4,083. Andres finished second in the 60 hurdles (9.07) and third in the high jump (1.74m).
