ROCHESTER, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior Kieran Sheridan ran a strong qualifying time in the 800 and added a leg to the Knights' winning 4x400 relay as the squad competed at the Roberts Wesleyan Last Chance Meet on Friday evening.
Sheridan finished the 800 in 1:52.69 to qualify for AARTFC Regionals and finish second. He ran the Knights' anchor leg, following Jason Rappazzo, Cameron Kane and Shane Ferris to place first and finish in 3:16.33. Ryan Mitchell finished first in the 3000 steeplechase with a 9:19.02 finish while Joshua Feldberg earned first place in the triple jump with a mark of 14.53m.
All the Knights who have qualified throughout the season will compete at the AARTFC Regional Championships on Wednesday, May 19 and Thursday, May 20.
