GENEVA, OH- The Geneseo Men's Track & Field team took 8th place out of 73 teams at the NCAA Championships. Charlie Wilson highlighted Day 1, taking second in the 10,000-meter with a personal best time of 29:21.43. Pierce Young took fifth in the steeple on day two, while Ryan Young and the 4x400 team of Arjun Ojha, Sam Belmont, Gian Carlo Di Fava and Jacob miller placed 3rd in the 1500-meter and 4x400 respectively.  All nine men competing earned All-American honors after an incredible weekend. 

DAY 1: 
Ryan Hagan opened the day qualifying for a spot in the 1500m finals after finishing prelims with a time of 3:52.68. Pierce Young followed suit in the steeplechase, taking eighth with a time of 8:59.64 to qualify for finals. The men's 4x400 team of Arjun Ojha, Sam Belmont, Gian Carlo Di Fava and Jacob Miller took third in prelims, with a final time of 3:11.45. Rounding out day 1, Charlie Wilson took home second place in the 10,000-meter, with a time of 29:21.43, marking a new personal best and breaking the program record set in 2012 by 11 seconds.  
DAY 2:
Jacob Miller opened the day for the men's team on the 400-meter, crossing the line at 48.37. Matthew Sheehan had a 9th place finish in the 800-meter with a final time of 1:52.38. Pierce Young capped off the day with an incredible 8:56.03 finish in the steeplechase to secure 5th place. 

DAY 3: 
Ryan Hagan had a great performance in the 1500-meter finals, taking third place with a time of 3:49.85 after moving from 11th place in the first 400 meters, to a top three finish. Hagan joined Charlie Wilson in the 5,000-meter, with Wilson taking 12th with a time of 14:25.99 and Hagan finishing 16th at 14:31.34. The 4x400 team of Ojha, Belmont, Di Fava and Miller went took third place in finals, crossing the line at 3:10.2. The team went on to finish 8th overall.
