GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior Kieran Sheridan paced the Knights earning a pair of event wins as the team hosted the Geneseo May Meet on Saturday afternoon.
Sheridan placed first in the 400 with a time of 49.30 and added a first-place finish in the 4x400 relay, teaming with sophomores Stephen Hoare, John Goldszer and Shane Ferris to finish in 3:26.04. Ryan Mitchell added a first-place finish in the 1500, turning in a 4:00.69 while Riley Grossman won the 800 in 1:57.97. Senior Tim Alejo took first place in the triple jump with a mark of 13.49m while Lance Jensen finished first in the 400 hurdles with a time of 55.37 for the Knights as well
Geneseo wil return to action on Friday, May 7 as they begin the SUNYAC Championships hosted by Cortland.
