GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo sophomore Jason Rappazzo tied a program record in the 100 as the Knights hosted the Geneseo Roundtable Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Rappazzo crossed the line in 10.96 to finish second and tie a 20-year old record in the event. He added a second-place finish in the 200, crossing in 22.18. The Knights' 4x400 relay team made up of John Goldszer, Joey Saxton, Kieran Sheridan and Alec Andrews placed first, clocking in at 3:28.57. Sophomore Ryan Mitchell earned a first-palce finish in the steeplechase with a 9:43.86 finish and sophomore Ezra Ruggles added a win in the 1,500, finishing in 3:56.50.
The Knights will compete in the Roberts Wesleyan Redhawk Invitational on Friday evening and again on Saturday at the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic.
