ROCHESTER, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo sophomore Jackson Hays finished second in the long jump as the Knights competed at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up on Friday night.
Hays recorded a 6.96m leap to place second in the event. First-year Sean Stewart also turned in a second-place finish in the triple jump, leaping to 13.80m. Junior Michael Hartcorn placed second in the 60m hurdles, timing out at 8.64. Sophomore Matthew Blauvelt added a third-place finish in the mile, earning a 4:28.10 finish.
The Knights will compete again at the SUNYAC Championships on Friday, Feb. 28. at Brockport.
