ROCHESTER, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior Justin Hoelzl earned a first-place finish in the 800 and senior Matthew Blauvelt won the mile as the Knights competed at the RIT Invitational Saturday.

Hoelzl timed out at 1:59.03 while Blauvelt ran his mile in 4:29.17, edging teammate Ezra Ruggles by less than a second. 

Geneseo will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 25 at Nazareth.
