HILTON HEAD, S.C. - SUNY Geneseo senior Vanessa Lam-Tran and first-year Julianna Schulz earned a tightly-contested win at first doubles but the Knights fell, 6-3, to Macalester in Hilton Head Thursday.

Lam-Tran and Schulz earned the 8-6 victory at the top doubles flight and juniors Sam Montague and Dana Sorrentino teamed for a third doubles win, 8-5, giving the Knights a 2-1 lead after doubles play. 

In singles, first-year Natalia Krol earned a victory at third singles, 6-4, 6-2, but was the only victorious Knight as the team fell, 6-3. 

Geneseo will face Allegheny on Friday morning at 8:30 in their final match of the spring trip.
