BOSTON - The SUNY Geneseo men's track & field team team competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, hosted by Boston University.
- The field included open athletes from around the world as well as Division I, II and III competitors.
- First-year Lukas D'Alfonso set a program record with a 48.64 clocking to finish 25th in the 400-meter dash.
- Junior Gillan Faulkner broke the Geneseo record in the 1,000, crossing 21st with a time of 2:27.95.
- D'Alfonso and Faulkner joined sophomore Ryan Dwyer and Samuel Napoli to set a program record in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:19.39.
Geneseo will be back in action next Saturday (Feb. 17) at the Brockport Invitational in its final tune-up for the SUNYAC Championships the following week (Feb. 23-24).
