LEWISTON, Pa. - The SUNY Geneseo men's track & field team competed at the 19th-Annual Bison Open, hosted by Bucknell, on Saturday.
Sophomore Gillan Faulkner won the 800-meter run with a time of 1:54.45 that ranks as the fastest time in the SUNYAC this season.
Sophomore Lorenzo Mazzuca posted a runner-up finish in the 1,000 (2:34.56) while senior Travis Briggs was second in the 5,000 (15:06.09).
First-year James Martin placed fourth in the mile (4:24.16) with a time that currently stands as the second-best in the conference.
The squad will be back in action next Friday (Feb. 3) in a meet hosted at RIT.
