ROCHESTER, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior Michael Segelin, junior Travis Briggs, sophomore Connor Pulvidente and first-year Isaac Garcia-Cassani each recorded a first-place finish to lead the Knights to first out of 12 teams at the RIT Invitational, Saturday.
Geneseo tallied 154 points to win the invite as the host Tigers (93), St. John Fisher (83.5), PSU-Behrend (71.5) and Nazareth (53) rounded out the top-five teams.
"To compete this well after a four-week winter break and a week of two-a-day practices, we couldn't be happier with the results," said head coach Chris Popovici. "Everyone worked through aches and soreness and we came away with a number of personal bests."
