LEWISBURG, Pa. - SUNY Geneseo junior Nate Lo Parco finished the 800-meter run in the fourth-fastest time in program history to lead the Knights at the Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell University, this weekend.
Lo Parco completed the 800-meter run in 1:54.47, putting him 28th in Division III this season, while senior Ben Schwartz now stands fifth all-time at Geneseo after finishing the event in 1:55.12.
In the 200-meter dash, junior Michael Segelin moved into fifth in program history with a time of 22.58.
First-year Isaac Garcia-Cassani finished the 1,500-meter run in a time of 3:53.23 to move into sixth in Division III this season and sixth all-time at Geneseo.
Junior Brendan Wortner came in 13th in the 5,000-meter run, completing the event in under 15 minutes for the first time (14:58.50). Sophomore Alex Kramer also finished the 5,000-meter run in a new personal record (15:05.22).
The Knights return to action next weekend at the Cortland Classic. Events are scheduled to begin Friday at 4 p.m. and continue Saturday at 10 a.m.
