ROCHESTER, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo sophomore Bayley Zubler took the crown in the 3,000-meter steeplechase to lead the Knights at the Roc City Invitational hosted by Nazareth, Saturday.
Zubler finished first in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:08.35 while first-year Kyle Chesterman came in sixth (10:31.65).
Senior Luke Taverne finished second in the high jump (1.93m) and senior Phil Longo took eighth in the long jump (6.18m). In the triple jump, first-year Peter Clark-Deutsch came in eighth (12.69m).
Senior Devon Anderson captured fourth-place in the discus throw (39.16m) and had an eighth-place finish in the javelin throw (45.41m).
Junior Alex Beals finished fourth in the 10,000-meter run (33:28.09) while senior Tony Pivarunas came in sixth (33:46.48).
In the 400-meter hurdles, junior Alex Hahn finished fourth (58.60).
For the women, junior Rayanne Luke came in third (19:02.59) in the 5,000-meter run while sophomore Kelly Flanagan took sixth (19:13.09).
In the pole vault, first-year Dana Rokicsak had a third-place finish (3.00m) and junior Caroline Gardner came in eighth (2.70m).
Senior Elyssa Slawinski captured second place in the hammer throw (46.94m) and came in seventh in the shot put (10.71m).
