ITHACA, N.Y. - SUNY Genseo senior Phil Longo came in fifth in the long jump (6.63m) while first-year Zerrick Barlow placed fourth in the weight throw (12.55m) and first-year Peter Clark-Deutsch had a triple jump of 13.21m to lead the Knights at the Sunday Invitational hosted by Cornell University.
Sophomore Adam Murphy had a fifth-place finish in the mile (4:29.51) followed by junior Joe Chapman in sixth (4:33.43).
First-year Jasper Humphries took 13th in the 400-meter dash (53.98) as first-years Seth Burton (54.72) and Dylan Switzer (55.40) came in 14th and 15th, respectively.
Junior Mike Custance came in ninth in the 3,000-meter run (9:13.18) followed by senior Matthew Byrnes in 10th (9:16.07) and sophomore Alfredo Mazzuca in 11th (9:16.62).
The Knights are scheduled to compete at the Golden Eagle Invite hosted by Brockport next Saturday (Feb. 21). Events are set to begin at 11 a.m.
