BROCKPORT, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior Nate Lo Parco, junior Brian Windisch and sophomore Alexander Burks all recorded first-place finishes to lead the Knights to first out of nine teams at the Brockport Early Season Invite, Saturday.

Geneseo took the crown with 162 points as Brockport (109), Roberts Wesleyan (86), RIT (85) and St. John Fisher (70) rounded out the top-five teams.

The Knights swept the top-four slots in the 600-meter run, led by Lo Parco in first with a time of 1:23.95. First-year James Laguerre II finished second (1:24.27), followed by senior Ben Wach in third (1:25.73) and first-year Zachary Hannahoe in fourth (1:25.74). Lo Parco's winning time was good for second on Geneseo's indoor record list while Laguerre's time ranks third.

Windisch captured first in the 1,000-meter run after completing the event in 2:37.34. Junior Chris Odin came in second (2:40.74) while first-year Ethan Bellante was close behind in third (2:41.22).

Burks bested the field in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:55.48 as senior Mike Custance finished in third (9:00.67), first-year Luke Holtzman was fourth (9:04.75) and senior Ryan Moynihan came in fifth (9:06.64).

In the 60-meter dash, senior Michael Segelin took second place (7.08) after winning the preliminaries with a time of 7.05, which now stands second all-time in program history.

First-year Lorenzo Mazzuca finished second in the mile (4:27.76) while classmate Gillan Faulkner was fourth (4:32.20).

In the 5,000-meter run, first-year John Ripa recorded a third-place finish (16:30.39) while junior Bayley Zubler crossed the finish line in fourth (16:36.06).

First-year Weber Lord finished fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.40.

In the field events, senior Aidan Fullerton came in second in the high jump (1.93m) and took third in the long jump (6.45m).

The Knights return to action this Thursday, Dec. 10, at the RIT Early Season Invite.
