PHILADELPHIA - Members of the SUNY Geneseo track & field teams competed at the Penn Relays at historic Franklin Field, Thursday.
Junior Alyssa Knott placed 22nd in the college women's 10,000 meters (36:05.51) with the 12th-fastest time in Division III this spring. Junior Cassie Goodman also competed in the race, finishing 33rd (36:42.71)
First-year Jacquelin Huben placed 17th in the college women's steeplechase championship, (11:08.89) with the 18th-fastest time in the nation, while first-year Sara Rosenzweig placed 11th in the college women's steeplechase race (11:20.03)
Junior Joanna Castrogivanni placed 20th in the college women's 5,000 championship (17:25.47).
First-years Bri Colello, Natalie Barrea and Alexa Wandy joined Knott to post a time of 51.98 in the college women's 4x100-meter relay (51.98), while Wandy, Colello, Knott and junior Keira Wood posted a 4:08.78 in the college women's 4x400-meter relay.
On the men's side, junior Ryan Moynihan placed 36th in the Olympic Development men's 5,000-meter run (15:30.65).
Action at the Penn Relays for the Knights wraps up on Friday before the teams head to Rochester to compete in the Spring Invitational meet at Fauver Stadium on Saturday.
