Women’s Soccer Falls 2-1 Against Oswego

OSWEGO, NY: The SUNY Geneseo women's soccer team stumbled against Oswego, losing 2-1. The Knights now sit at 1-1-1 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The Knights got on the board first, scoring at 14:14. Ella Yartym found the back of the net with Kate Pinto on the assist.
  • Oswego was able to tie it after an own-goal by the Knights just before halftime.
  • The Lakers added the game winner in the 59th minute and despite their efforts, the Knights were unable rally.
