GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's volleyball team wrapped up the Marcia French Invitational on Saturday, picking up a five-set win over Buffalo State before falling to the tournament host in four sets, moving to 3-4 on the season.
Geneseo vs Buffalo State
- Buffalo State opened with an extended run behind a strong hitting stretch, but Geneseo answered with a service-fueled surge from McKenna Callari, closing the set on a string of aces and kills to take the opener 25-15.
- The hosts flipped the script in the second, controlling play from start to finish for a 25-10 win.
- Geneseo regained control in the third, trading points into the low 20s before pulling away late behind Kate Barba, closing it out 25-23.
