COLLEGEVILLE, P.A. - The SUNY Geneseo men's track and field team finished fourth overall at the AARTFC Championship Meet, posting 49 points.
Emerson Comer and
James Tette got off to a strong start for the Knights in the 3000m Steeplechase, with Comer taking the top spot at 8:54.64, and Tette finishing third at 9:19.80. The team of
Arjun Ojha,
Andrew Kent,
Giancarlo Di Fava, and
Sam Belmont kept the momentum going in the 4x400 relay with a first place finish at 3:11.01.
Drew Cox added another six points for the Knights in the 10,000m, placing third at 32:03.62. Kent and Ojha took on the 400m and finished fifth and seventh with times of 48.55 and 48.77, respectively.
Andrew Donner competed in the 800m for the Knights and picked up a time of 1:54.33 in sixth place.
Daniel Pagan put up an impressive performance in the decathlon, scoring 6208 points behind second place finishes in the shot put and javelin throw.
