PENN YAN, N.Y. -  The SUNY Geneseo women's golf team kicked off its spring season on Thursday, competing at the Keuka College Spring Invitational. The Knights spring opener was highlighted by Jillian Draper placing first overall with a 90, while the team took second place.

Draper's round was highlighted by an eagle on the par 5 sixth hole, as well as pars on holes 1, 2, 5, 11, 14, and 18. Lydia Hickey and Avery Keller each added two pars to their rounds, scoring 103 and 110, respectively. Avery Smith rounded out the top four for the Knights with a 111. The Knights earned a second place finish in the Invitational, beating out Utica, William Smith, and Keuka.
