GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's golf team opened up its season on Saturday against St. John Fisher and Nazareth at Caledonia Country Club. The Knights finished third with a score of 385.
The Knights were led by newcomer
Meghan McMackin, who posted a 91 in sixth place.
Avery Smith was close behind with a 96, while
Lydia Hickey and
Annabel Barberich carded a 98 and 100, respectively.
Elise Franco and
Hanna Bechard each added a 107, while
Avery Keller and
Riley Tripp rounded out the participants for the Knights with a 110 and 117, respectively.
Geneseo will be back in action at the Keuka Invitational on September 24.
