GENESEO, NY: The SUNY Geneseo men's lacrosse team defeated the Alfred Saxon 11-5 this afternoon. The Knights move to 10-5 overall and 6-2 in the Empire 8.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Alfred took a 3-1 lead in the first with two minutes left in the quarter, but Geneseo came back, scoring two back-to-back goals with under a minute remaining to tie it up.
• The Knights took a 6-4 lead in the second, with Ronnie Trebing tallying two goals while his brother Ryan Trebing added one of his own.
• Geneseo continued to push, adding three more in the third, coming from Aksel Stanat, Owen Ellick and Ronnie Trebing.
• Alfred added a goal in the fourth quarter, but Jacob Pensabean grabbed the Knights final goal at 8:04, leading them to a 11-5 victory over the Saxons.

QUICK FACTS:

• Ronnie Trebing led the Knights with four goals and one assist, leading the team with 55 this season.
• Ryan Trebing and Ian Delpha each tallied three caused turnovers against the Saxons.  
• Ben Bradshaw came up big in net, making 12 saves for a .706 SV%.
