NEW YORK CITY - The SUNY Geneseo men's track and field team finished second at the AARTFC Indoor Championships this weekend, posting 69 points.
DAY ONE RECAP - The SUNY Geneseo men's track and field competed at day one of the AARTFC Indoor Championships this afternoon, with the Knights currently sitting in first place with 29 points.
Collin Brown led the way in the 5000, finishing at 14:52.90, with
Kole Owens and
Thomas Blake adding points for the Knights in fourth and fifth place. Ray Trottier took fifth in the weight throw, hitting 15.55 meters. The 4x400 relay team of
Andrew Kent, Gian Carlo Di Fava,
Arjun Ojha and
Sam Belmont had a great performance, taking third place with their time of 3:15.36.
DAY TWO RECAP - Jacob Miller posted a big highlight for the Knights, winning the 400m with a new meet record time of 47.50, which also marks the ninth fastest in Division III.
Owen Murphy added eight points for Geneseo in the mile by finishing second overall at 4:14.32.
James Tette and
Collin Brown added a big race in the 3000m, finishing first and second at 8:28.29 and 8:29.92, respectively.
