CLEARWATER, F.L. - The SUNY Geneseo women's lacrosse team fell to Stevens this afternoon, 17-8, which brings their record to 3-4 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Stevens had a 5-2 lead after the first period, with Rosemary Mahoney scoring two goals for the Knights. The Knights would score three in the second with goals from Briea Schlindwein, Olivia Luchetti, and Katie Rajkowski to cut the deficit to 7-5 going into halftime.
• Mahoney would score her third goal of the game to open up the scoring in the third quarter. Olivia Luchetti tallied a goal with 4:48 remaining in the third quarter. However, at the end of the quarter the Knights trailed 11-7.
• Natalie Long scored the Knights lone goal in the fourth with 5:53 remaining, with the Knights ultimately falling 17-8.

QUICK FACTS:

• Rosemary Mahoney tallied three goals and one assist to lead the team in points in today's game, while Olivia Luchetti tallied two goals.
• Violet Piccinini and Allison Dodge posted three caused turnovers to lead the defense, while Teagan Culhane added six saves.
