CLINTON, NY: The SUNY Geneseo Women's lacrosse team came out on top over the Hamilton Continentals 11-8, improving to 2-3 overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Katie Rajkowski found the back of the net first for the Knights at 12:21. Hamilton tallied one a minute later, but Geneseo fired back with a three-goal streak of their own, with goals from Natalie Long, Grace Reyna and Rosie Mahoney.
- Hamilton cut the lead to one at halftime, with the Knights leading 6-5. Lila Waner scored Geneseo's fifth goal at 6:31, followed by a man-up, free position goal from Reyna to end the half.
- The Knights added three more to open the third quarter, with goals from Rajkoaski, Mahoney and Hannah Ruller. Reyna then completed her hattrick, scoring with a minute left to make it 10-6 heading into the final quarter.
- Warner added another man-up free position goal at 9:51 for Geneseo's final goal of the game. Hamilton tried to make a comeback, scoring two more but were unable to get past the Knights defense, giving Geneseo the 11-8 win.
QUICK FACTS:
- Rosemary Mahoney scored two goals, and one assists, leading the Knights with 13 points.
- Teagan Culhane tallied six saves in net, totaling 32 this season.
- Grace Reyna secured her second career hattrick, putting up three goals against Hamilton.
