BOSTON AND ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's track and field team competed at both the Boston University Valentines Invite and the Nazareth D3 Elite Meet this weekend.
At Boston,
Ryan Hagan competed in the mile run and posted a time of 4:02.39, marking a new program record, the fourth fastest time in Division III this season, the 13th fastest in DIII history, and an Empire 8 conference record. The men's 4x400 relay recorded a time of 3:11.77 behind the team of
Andrew Kent,
Sam Belmont,
Arjun Ojha, and
Jacob Miller. The Knights time marked the second fastest in program history, the eighth fastest in DIII history, and an Empire 8 conference record. In the 400m, Miller led the way at 47.80, while Belmont was close behind at 47.91 and Ojha recorded 48.71, all top-ten in program history. The 800m saw strong performances from
Dawson Wadsworth (1:52.72) and
Connor Hitt (1:54.97), both top-ten in program history.
Andrew Kent added a time of 22.12 in the 200m, marking the fourth fastest time in indoor school history. The Distance Medley Relay team of
Pierce Young, Miller, Wadsworth, and Hagan posted a time of 9:53.37, marking the fifth fastest time in program history and an Empire 8 record.
Emerson Comer capped off the meet in the 5000m, where he posted a time of 14:16.04 for a new program and conference record.

At Nazareth, the Knights kicked off the meeet in the 5000m with a dominant performance, placing five runners in the top six.
Thomas Blake,
James Tette,
Drew Cox, and
Max Schnittman placed first through fourth, respectively, while
Kole Owens finished sixth as all five runners earned regional qualifying times. Will Hawken opened up the events on Saturday in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.35, another regional qualifying time.
Sean Verbosky took on the mile for the Knights, and placed third overall with a regional qualifying time of 4:21.88 in third place. To cap off the track events,
Sam Viglione took second for the Knights at 8:48.77 in the 3000m.
In the field events,
Chris Desiderio posted a distance of 13.78m in the triple jump to take first place overall.
Raymond Trottier finished second in the shot put with a distance of 15.09, while Hawken finished third in the long jump at 6.56m.
