GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo's women volleyball took on Williams College on Friday night, dropping the match 3-0. The Knights now hold a 2-3 record on the season.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Williams set the tone early, dominating the opening set. The Knights struggled to find their rhythm offensively, generating few scoring chances as they fell 25-10. Sophie Hunter contributed three kills in the effort.
• The Knights came out strong in the second set, but Williams regained control with a 15-9 advantage. Geneseo couldn't mount a comeback, and Williams closed out the set with a 25-14 win.
• Williams carried their momentum into the third set, cruising to another 25-14 victory. Ayla Pas'cal got the Knights on the board with an early kill and went on to add three more in the set.

QUICK FACTS:

• Carolyn Mack led the Knights with 18 assists.
• Sophie Hunter and Ayla Pas'cal each recorded seven kills.
• Zooey Gagnier led the defensive effort with 15 digs.

The Knights will take on Johnson & Wales and Skidmore tomorrow, beginning at 12 p.m.
